The success method 5:2 is based on intermittent fasting, i.e. eating a normal diet for 5 days and minimizing caloric intake for two days. The method is based on the idea the human body was not intended to have a constant supply of food.

Under "5:2 today", you can add what you eat throughout the day to gain control of your intake of calories. The search field lets you find all products in the Swedish Livsmedelsverket (NFA) database. You can choose to keep score every day, or only your fast days.

Under "Previous" you can view your intake of calories from previous days.

Under "My Schedule" you can choose which two days you want to fast. These days should not be in consecutive order. During a fasting day, you should not eat more than about 500 calories if you are female and about 600 calories if you are a man.
